About MorrisAllsop Public Affairs
At MorrisAllsop Public affairs we strive to positively impact policy, legislation and funding. Founded in 2007, we extensively train and assist leaders, political candidates and business owners in strategies for advocacy, campaigning and marketing. In our role as good cause advocates, our clients include businesses, non-profit organizations, labor and individuals. Our mission leads us to work with our clients as partners - representing and advising you every step of the way to support your good causes.
MorrisAllsop is based in New York City. From the inception we’ve treated every client like they were a part of our family. Other companies may offer similar services, but our company believes in delivering a quality service that custom fits the needs of our clients.
Celeste Morris founded MorrisAllsop Public Affairs as a result of the natural outgrowth of her extensive leadership experience in government, political, business and not-for-profit sectors. Her acumen in strategy planning and implementation, coupled with the relationships she has created over time, make her an important partner to clients whose goals require they navigate government.
Her career includes roles as program director of non-profit agencies, government relations specialist at New York City’s Transit Authority, Director of NYC’s Minority and Women’s Business Enterprise program and MTA’s Disadvantaged Business Program, and chief of staff for a state senator. As head of her previous company, Unlimited Creative Enterprises, she published a directory of African American owned businesses in New York City while also serving as political consultant to local, citywide, and statewide political campaigns and political groups. In addition to serving her clients, she created and spear-heads the Advocacy Academy, a series of trainings for faith-based and grassroots leaders. Formerly funded at the Center for Law and Social Justice at Medgar Evers College, she has now partnered with FPWA to continue its growth. She is well recognized for her talents in political consulting, training for businesses and non-profits, and her ability to navigate all levels of government.
She currently serves her community by volunteering in the positions of chairperson of the board of directors of Brooklyn Legal Services Corporation and treasurer of the national organization, Higher Heights for America.
For her work, she has received awards and recognition from local and national groups including a prestigious Revson Fellowship at Columbia University, a Congressional appointment as a representative to the White House Conference on Small Business, and the 2016 Business Leadership Award from Medgar Evers College Community Council.
