About MorrisAllsop Public Affairs
Our mission is to to positively impact policy, legislation and funding for causes, businesses, non-profit organizations, labor and individuals.  Founded by Celeste Morris in 2007, we are good cause advocates involved in lobbying, training, government and public relations.  The company was formed as the natural next step in an extensive career in government, business, not-for-profits and politics.  We work with our clients as partners representing and advising you every step of the way.  

MorrisAllsop is based in New York City. From the inception we’ve treated every client like they were a part of our family. Other companies may offer similar services, but our company believes in delivering a quality service that custom fits the needs of our clients. 
Celeste Morris founded MorrisAllsop Public Affairs as a result of the natural outgrowth of her extensive leadership experience in government, political, business and not-for-profit sectors. Her acumen in strategy planning and implementation, coupled with the relationships she has created over time, make her an important partner to clients whose goals require they navigate government. 

Her career includes roles as program director of non-profit agencies, government relations specialist at New York City’s Transit Authority, Director of NYC’s Minority and Women’s Business Enterprise program and MTA’s Disadvantaged Business Program, and chief of staff for a state senator. As head of her previous company, Unlimited Creative Enterprises, she published a directory of African American owned businesses in New York City while also serving as political consultant to local, citywide, and statewide political campaigns and political groups. Most recently she created and spear-headed the creation of the Advocacy Academy at the Center for Law and Social Justice at Medgar Evers College. She is well recognized for her talents in political consulting, training for businesses and non-profits, and her ability to navigate all levels of government.  

She serves as a member of the board of directors of the Bedford Stuyvesant Legal Services Corporation and treasurer of the national organization, Higher Heights.

For her work, she has received awards and recognition from local and national groups including a prestigious Revson Fellowship at Columbia University and a Congressional appointment as a representative to the White House Conference on Small Business. 

Naila Caicedo-Rosario, born in Cali, Colombia, raised in Brooklyn, New York and a graduate of City College has experience in grassroots mobilization, community organizing, campaign field organizing, political fundraising, message development , database management and earned media strategy building.
Naila has directed the successful voter contact operations for political incumbent and insurgent candidates for municipal, state and federal offices. She has also played key roles on issue/advocacy campaigns and training. Her most recent work has been with the NuAmerican Leadership Project and initiative aimed at civic engagement for new citizens. 
Formerly, as community events coordinator at the Queens Museum of Art, Naila spearheaded and maintained the ‘Heart of Corona’ initiative where she was responsible for the successful implementation of strategic partnerships between the museum and community groups to improve the health of community residents, beautify the neighborhood, and activate public spaces in the area thereby enhancing the environment for visitors, residents and merchants alike.

Naila is the co-founder of Afrocolombia NY, an organization purposed with disseminating and sharing information about the heritage, community, and contributions of the AfroColombian culture to the Colombian national identity. Naila serves on the board of the New American Chamber of Commerce and the Latina American Intercultural Alliance.
